You forgot the crunchies!!

Our morning feeding routine consists of canned food while we are getting ready and as we are walking out the door we give the babies hard food that we refer to as "crunchies". Our little angels remind us very sweetly every morning to be sure and give them "crunchies". Thursday morning I decided they could stand to lose a little weight, so I left without giving them any "crunchies". This is what we arrived home to. A not so sweet reminder that we forgot their beloved "crunchies". Someone decided to take out their frustration on the paper towel roll. How's that for Cats With Attitude! Gotta love em! ;-)

Secret Stamper Club Candy Lane

I am part of a Secret Stamper Club. The rules are you are assigned one lady and are committed to sending her one gift item per month for three months. This gift item is NOT a purchased item - it's a hand-stamped item by you! All supplies used need to be from Stampin' Up! (SU) so that your person may easily duplicate it, if they wish! A "gift item" can be described as anything 3D - what we sometimes refer to as a "project" - and anything that ISN'T a card!

This is one of the gifts I sent. The purse is my own template design. I used SU Candy Lane DSP and the Love You Much stamp set. The faux stitching on the corners and flap are created with a paper piercer and SU white signo gel marker to draw the lines. I made a few little Valentine note cards to include and only AFTER I mailed it off, did I realize the "your" should have been "you're". Yikes!! Oh well, you get the gist. I filled it with some truffles and sent it on its way.

Blessings,

Two more cards available!! The birthday card flame is from CTMH Playful Petals. I thought it looked like a flame, so I used it as one. Then I cut apart the flourish and used just one side to add some whimsy to the sentiment. It's no secret. I frequently cut my stamps apart and use just a portion of the design for my designs.

For the butterfly card, I wanted something quick and simple. Used CTMH Butterfly Kiss set stamped in Stazon. Colored pencils and paper piercer to add a flight pattern. Rounded the corners and I'm done.

Box with Handles Template

I have an extensive collection of templates I have created over the years and after many requests, I decided to start creating templates to share on the web. In the past I just traced my template onto card stock to share my designs with others. Let me know if you have any questions about this first template. I hope it is easy to understand. To make this box you need just one letter size sheet of card stock. 8-1/2" X 11". Picture above shows my latest creation with this actual template. This link will take you to my template.
