Halloween Boo Album pics

I had some requests to see the rest of my Boo album from my last post, so here are pictures of the inside. It holds 11 pictures and has several places for journaling. I am selling this album for $35 if you don't want to make your own. It's the only one like it. I'm in love with making little Mini Albums! They are so much fun and quicker than big 12 x 12 layouts. What is your preference and why? I'm interested to see what others think about scrapbooking and mini albums.

Halloween Projects and Tutorial!!

A Quick Fun Post and then I have to Run!! Stampin' Up! Demo Only Retreat is this weekend and I'm late for the party?! I know I owe you a tutorial for the little gift box from the Anniversary Party, but I just haven't had the time to put it together. I do however have a tutorial for my favorite holiday season....Halloween!! I hope you like it! If you would like to order supplies through my Stampin' Up! Website, please click HERE.

I wanted to demonstrate another way to use the Bitty Box and decided on one of my Peek A Boo characters! I just love using Peek A Boo characters around frames, so why not use with candy and the Bitty Box die cut.
TUTORIAL is at the bottom of this post.

I'm sharing projects from Die Cut Diva class. Last month we made an entire Halloween Album from chipboard and Stampin' Up!'s wonderful punches and coordinating paper pack.

In class I teach several different ways to use your Big Shot and the dies. Check out Frankie made with the Top Note die and the Fancy Favor Box!

Then I used the Top Note as a cookie holder and embellished with Felt Leaves cut with my Big Shot. Wrap a belly band around the Top Note with Stampin' Up!'s gorgeous Spice Cake paper and you have the perfect Fall Treat! I used the Gently Falling stamp set to stamp veins on my felt leaf. Clever, isn't it!? ;-)

Another example of using the Bitty Box die. It holds 4 of the Hershey's nuggets or 2 Ghirardelli wrapped squares. I just love the Stocking Punch by Stampin' Up! They make it so easy to whip out a bunch of cute of embellishments in no time.

And now for the Witch Peek A Boo tutorial using Stampin' Up!'s Ornament Punch! Leave a comment if you have any questions about the tutorial.

Which project is your favorite??

Cheers! Elizabeth

Last Chance Summer Mini stamp sets

The votes are in! Thanks for leaving comments on my last post for the candy box. I'll work on a tutorial this week!

For now, I wanted to share two cards I designed for tomorrow's class. August 31st is the last day to order stamps and accessories from the Summer Mini Catalog (link here). Some items were carried over and are still available to purchase in the 2011 - 2012 Idea Book & Catalog (link here), but some are not! I designed cards using the retiring sets.

The first card features ~On The Grow~! I struggled to settle on one design because there are SOOOO many fantastic ways to use this set! It would work for scrapbook pages, shadow boxes and of course, cards. It's bright and cheerful due to my color choices. So Saffron, Tempting Turquoise & Regal Rose. I used the masking technique, sponging and a mixture of water color pencils with blender pens and markers to achieve the finished scene. The punched flowers in the corner are from the Triple Layer Punch called Blossom Bouquet (#122464). As its name says - it has a "triple" selection of punch-outs to choose from, contained in just one punch! The center of the flowers are punched from the circle shape of the Itty Bitty Punch Pack (#118309) and pearls add a perfect finishing touch.

The second card features the ~Strength & Hope~set. Throughout the 2011 Summer Mini Catalog sales period, Stampin' Up! will donate $2* from the sale of each Strength & Hope set and Strength & Hope digital kit to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). I am happy to help contribute to an amazing cause! I paired Crumb Cake with Regal Rose and Very Vanilla. For the butterfly, I inked it up with Regal Rose, then took my Rose Red marker and colored along the wing border before stamping. I love the depth in the wings using this technique.

The images in the set and the digital paper are GORGEOUS!! See for yourself.

Calendar Class Kits Available!

I had a blast last Saturday sharing calendar kits with ladies tired of the same old boring desk top calendars. These can be used Year-After-Year. Just adhere the monthly calendar with temporary adhesive and replace next year. I'm sharing just a few of the months on my blog. If you are interested in purchasing kits, they are $25 for 6 months. Kits come with all the supplies to make your own 6 x 6 page, the display stand and the monthly calendar.

These designs are "Over The Top" and worth every penny! See what others are saying about last Saturday's class.

"Awesome! Your creative ideas are always inspiring! I can't wait to do the first six months of the year to complete my set." L.C.

"This class was the best ever. You guys never cease to amaze me." Diana G.

"This was my first time doing any of these types of crafts (i.e. stamping, card-making, calendar-making, etc) and I thought it was great! My kit was definitely worth the $$$. Also thanks to Elizabeth for letting me borrow her adhesives" Amber C.

Tart & Tangy Still In Style

Popping in to share two cards from my Tart & Tangy class!! The class was so much fun and I enjoyed the challenge of sharing how versatile one stamp set can be. I received soooo many compliments and one lady even said I should "take this show on the road"! How fun would that be?!!!

I think my favorite is the Apron card I designed with the cherry. I paired Real Red with Baja Breeze on 2 of them, then I paired the Real Red with Marina Mist from the Patterns Designer Series Paper Pack! It was so quick to put together.

Stampin' UP! Sizzix Bigz Clear circle item 114533 nests perfectly in
Bigz Scallop Circle item 113468
Tag Punches layer perfectly for the Apron Pocket.
Pierced holes and used Crumb Cake marker to connect pierced holes for Faux Stitching.

"For You" sentiment is from All Holidays stamp set.

Next up is a card created with the strawberry from the Tart & Tangy set! Check out this basket of Strawberries. So stinking cute!! Stamp the strawberry with Versamark on Rose Red and Garden Green. The basket was made with Stampin' UP!s Basket & Blooms Bigz L die (item 113484). Just chop off the bottom of one basket piece and emboss with the Square Lattice Folder (item 119976) and layer on top of a Lattice Die cut (item 115958) piece on the card front. Add some ribbon and a sentiment and you are done!
